Summer Rocks Into Seaside Heights
The summer season starts a little earlier at the Jersey Shore with the 5th Annual Seaside Music Festival On May 17th – 19th 2012. Over 60 different musical acts will be playing throughout Seaside Heights bars such as The Aztec Bar, Jimbos, Jack and Bills, Klee’s, Hemingways and the Sawmill. And there’s an outdoor stage too. Lights, Camera…Film Festival!
Local and professionally recognized filmmakers will meet at the Jersey Shore this weekend for the 6th Annual Ocean County Library Film Festival. The Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library and the TRACO Theatre in Downtown Toms River will host the 2-day film extravaganza in 2012. Movies created by local high school students will be played on Friday, April 27th. On Saturday, April 28th, independents films created by local Adults (Ages 18 +) will play. Each day, there will be awards for the best movies, refreshments, networking opportunities with filmmakers and a special festival t-shirt will be given out. And the entire film festival is FREE and open to the public. (more…)
