It’s Official: Summer returns to the Jersey Shore. During Memorial Day Weekend 2012, tens of thousands of people will flock to Ocean County to visit the beaches, which open that weekend. Plus it’s the official seasonal openings for the boardwalk attractions in Point Pleasant Beach and Seaside Heights, Fantasy Island in LBI and Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. Brick Goes Green (Again)
The Second Annual Brick Township Green Fair will take place on Saturday, April 28 at Veterans Memorial Middle School, 105 Hendrickson Avenue, from 11am – 3pm. The Green Fair is open to all citizens and is free to attend.
The Green Fair is a community-wide Earth Day celebration designed to educate, enlighten and encourage people of all ages, incomes and backgrounds to adopt a more environmentally and socially responsible lifestyle. There will be information on hand, exhibits, vendors and much more. And Ocean Happening will have a table at this great community event (so make sure you stop by and say “Hello”). (more…)
