Sweet February: Chocolate Week 2012

Get your taste buds ready for the 4^th Annual Southern Ocean County Chocolate Week, sponsored by the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce. From February 11^th-February 20^th, indulge yourself in delicious food, great local fun and lots more. During Chocolate Week, several Southern Ocean County hotels and restaurants offer irresistible discounts and yummy specials. Bring the whole family to Southern Ocean County to enjoy this tasty week together. Here’s a list of some of the most scrumptious events during the 2012 Southern Ocean County Chocolate Week:

• On the February 11^th Science Saturday at 10AM at the LBIF, they’ll be distributing mouthwatering Chocolate Turtles to those in attendance.
• Get ready to laugh for Comedy Night on February 11^th at Longshots Sports Bar in Waretown. $20 includes a great meal and a very funny show presented by Ocean County’s own Knuckleheads Comedy Club.
• On February 13^th at 11:30AM, EverythingWoman in Manahawkin presents a beautiful fashion show. It’s $30 and it’s a benefit for the Popcorn Park Zoo. And they are serving a tasty lunch.
• The Ocean County Library in Surf City invited you to make chocolate-covered pretzels on Valentine’s Day February 14^th.  What a delicious way to celebrate Valentine’s Day 2012!
• Check out a Bartenders Competition at the TGIF in Manahawkin on February 16th. Tickets are $5 and they are auctioning off the beverages from the competition. This event will quench your thirst.
• It’s time for delicious treats and a good show at Death By Chocolate/Murder Mystery Dinner Show at the Engleside Inn in Beach Haven at 6PM on February 17^th. Tickets are just $75 and the proceeds benefit the Tuckerton Seaport.
• Wanna learn how to make chocolate? The Tuckerton Seaport offers their Family Chocolate Class on February 18^th at 11AM. For only $10, you’ll discover how fun and delicious it is to make your own chocolate candies at home.
