Who is OH

Hello, Ocean County. My name is Steven Lerner. I was born and raised right here in Ocean County, NJ and I’m proud to be right here at the Jersey Shore.

After growing up in Brick Township, I went off to college at Rowan University. Following college, I moved back here to Ocean County and commuted for two years while working at a media company in North Jersey. Although I liked the job, I didn’t like the commute. Plus, something didn’t feel right about it. I wanted to spend more time with my family, my friends and my community.

I decided to use my media skills (in social media, video production, writing and more) to start an online hyperlocal publication all about my community. With a little help from the good people of Happenings Media, we launched our site and here it is – Ocean Happening.
